That's up to you! A typical party is two hours, painting about 15-25 people. For smaller events, we can do just an hour. If you are planning a public event, with a higher volume of guests, please refer to the public event/festival item below. Adults also enjoy being painted, so please expect that adults at your party will want to get painted as well.

We bring everything we need! We only require a shaded, covered area if outdoors, a table and two upright chairs per artist - preferably away from the moon bounce, trash recepticals and loud music. If you cannot provide such set-up, please let us know, and we can bring our tent and equipment for an additional fee.
Even the best laid plans can still fail. Please have an alternative plan in case of rain or extreme temperatures. We also reserve the right to cease working and leave if there are extreme, dangeous or adverse working conditions. Adverse conditions included but not limited to: severe weather, destructive, violent, or extremely inappropriate behavior of a child or adult; illegal activities; dangerous conditions. This is based on the artist's discretion.

At parties, it's best if a line manager can be provided by the party host. We can not control the line as it is our job to focus on the person in the chair being painted. The Line Manager should keep the guests waiting in line at least 3 feet away from the artist at all times. This helps keep curious hands out of the paint and little ones from bumping the artist, table or chair.

To prevent the spread of germs or infections, anyone who is sick or APPEARS to be sick will not be painted. This includes guests with colds, runny noses, cold sores, rashes, or open sores and wounds. They will be handled with sensitivity and offered an arm painting as an alternative. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian of the child to not put the child into that position, and to ask ahead of time for the alternate option.

Yes, we often set up at festivals, fairs and public events. For private events we are paid by the hour, for open-to-the-public events, we normally charge on a "pay-per-face" basis. This includes designs for cheeks or arms, as well as masks and full face designs. At "pay-per-face" events, we provide our own tent, tables, chairs, signage, as well as a line manager.
